Project Assistant (Temporary Role)
We are hiring a Project Assistant to help us with the workload involved in planning the IA 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
- Preferably male, aged between 24 and 29 years.
- Must have at least a diploma with 1.5 years of work experience OR a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree and internship experience in a corporate setting.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be available to start immediately.
Tasks to be Done/Job Description
Events/Operations
- Maintain and update payments tracker.
- Track application and registration responses and transfer data to the Excel tracker.
- Provide logistical support to planning teams.
- Provide procurement support to the planning team.
- Manage online application and registration processes.
Communications
- Schedule social media posts and engage with followers.
- Assist with story collection (schedule interviews, proofread, and assist with distribution and engagement).
- Report engagement based on platform metrics and implement changes or recommendations from the Regional Communications Manager (RCM).
- Conduct Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) for campaigns.
- Coordinate translation of communication pieces.
- Proofread copy and graphics correction.
- Help with video subtitling and corrections on Kapwing.
Administrative Duties
- Manage official event communication channels i.e. email and WhatsApp.
- Follow up with National Directors (NDs) and other stakeholders on requests and RO communication (e.g., Exhibition country content).
- Manage the on-site query/info desk.
- Assist with travel planning for Regional Leadership Team members.
- Prepare necessary travel documentation as assigned.
- Provide progress reports on assigned tasks.
